Our mission is to provide proper education for safe firearms handling and use in order to promote shooting sports and youth education, as well as confidence with concealed carry and home protection.
Greg and JoAnn Dykstra started Pistol Wrangler LLC in 2019 after several friends and family members expressed interest in receiving more thorough training.
Greg Dykstra is the primary firearms instructor at Pistol Wrangler LLC. He retired as a sergeant from the Phoenix Police Department after 30 years of service and was a police firearms instructor for 14 of those years. Greg has used firearms his entire life and is an NRA Firearms Instructor. He has extensive knowledge in the use of deadly force, personal protection, home security and defensive tactics. Greg has testified as an expert witness regarding firearms in Arizona and has considerable knowledge of Colorado firearms laws.
